Yes, kevod haRav Greenbaum, it is a painful situation. Soldiers are getting killed in what seems to be a war without end. The present IDF is not a true Jewish army, based on the Torah. It is very sad to see - for instance - young women, wearing a khaki uniform and a rifle. They should be working as educators or nurses, raising young children. Young men should not be forced to go to war, as the Torah clearly mentions exceptions (who built a house? who plant a vineyard? who got married? whose heart will melt? etc.) of men who should not be drafted into an army, and certainly not a Jewish army! You should do so ASAP. I love you for your work on COVID but many of us are close with young people in the IDF and you are getting rather close to saying some very hurtful things
I think you are misinterpreting Rabbi Green, he is risking his reputation and his life to safe those "young people" in the IDF, if you really are close to them share Rabbi Green posts, help them to find solutions to come out of their dangerous situations, is not defending Jews, no Israelis they are "working" for the enemy.. Courage is not only a word, and integrity is part of it.. As long as they are alive you can help them to continue existing in this dimension by coming out of the army.. with its consequences, at least they will have more chances to live.. and really help others, toda Raba
That is not what Rabbi Green is saying, The Rebbe will never agree to 💉poison humanity, although I have a different perspective of what are "countries", and therefore governments we can say that those who have harmed, poison "Israel" inhabitants, Jews and non Jews seem the same ones behind "the war", it seems that the objective is depopulation worldwide, including Jews that think they are defending their country, they are use to kill, and to be killed, although I see humanity, Judaism from my own perspective, Rabbi Green is right they are using Judaism and Jews for other purposes that has nothing to do with G_d or Judaism.. It would have been better if the so called state if Israel remained under the British mandate. That is a simple answer. But since we can't go back to that, dissolve the knesset and every branch and level of the Israeli government and demand the whole area be under UN control.
UN is not anything it should be, the only answer is small tight communities unify to bigger ones, no governments worldwide care for their people, not only in Israel that is the true we are facing
